8:00 | Keynote: What Kind of Society Do Dark Patterns Make Durable? | Ryan Calo, Professor of Law at The University of Washington, will present on the legal and policy implications of dark patterns |

8:45 | Session 2: What can CHI do about dark patterns? | Small group discussion of how to address dark patterns. In advance of the workshop, participants will be assigned to read some of the position papers of the other participants in their small group. |
